The biggest problem we have had with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 so far is that it takes a really long time to fail on our network with hundreds of images. I have had to go through many uninstall, reinstall, and test a new connection to get it to work. It appears that the problem is associated with the 4K monitors. Once the fourth image is displayed, it becomes very slow. WWDC videos showed a lot of 4K monitors but we never really bothered to check what that meant for performance until now. I hope that Adobe will look into eliminating the problem with 4K monitors soon as it is affecting all of us. With our current computer, we have no problems importing, organizing, retouching, and exporting our files. However, four hours to failure is way too long.
I bought this app at the same time I bought my new iPad Air and iPad Pro and I have three (3) huge issues with this app. It works great and yes it does match perfectly to the refreshed iPad, but once you open any library or file I can not use the smart suggestions or selecting multiple files in any way. The app is as though it has a mind of its own and if I send it a library or file it does not know what I am selecting in an attempt to get my photos back into the app. Either way it is a huge time suck and it really has to be reloaded for every single, single file that I have opened, every single time I open a library. It would be nice if the developer would get this fixed or divulge an explanation on why this feature is so frustrating. You can open the app and all of their logos are in place, but the smart suggestions and selecting multiple files to open in any other way are not even in sight. It must be a glitch automatically activated somewhere, I’m afraid because I have tried over three (3) times and the specs still don’t meet the app’s capabilities.
I hope that the camera will enable you to find more easily those frames that you need, and will help you to edit your pictures in a quicker and more personalized manner. Every photo depends on a good photo, and editing with precision can be a real eye-opener.
